Magma/ Massecuite Pump

The RO type rotor pump employs elliptical rotor rotating at a very slow speed in circular casing. It is excellent for handling Magma/ Massecuite in the sugar industry and other highly viscous liquids like black liquor in the paper industry. On the rotor there rests swinging flap with one end hinged. The flap scraps off the liquid from the rotor thus a positive displacement of the liquid is achieved. “ ROB” pumps are mechanically sealed. The rotor is mounted on extraordinary heavy bearings.
