These are horizontal split casing pump employing two impellers,
mounted back to back on the common shaft. The energy added by the
first impeller shaft. The energy added by the first impeller due to
centrifugal action is further added in the other impeller.
Such pumps are highly suitable for medium capacity & comparatively
higher head. |
